Christians in Hell? Well, maybe it'll sound better if I say, "hypocrites can go to Hell". Now before you get too happy, let's see if you can relate to any of the following series of questions. Are you the one dancing and shouting in church, then cussing, smoking and drinking after service? Are you the one stealing money from the church or its members? Are you the one gossiping about believers and judging unbelievers? Are you the one who's watching pornography behind closed doors? Are you the one who attends church just to socialize or network for your business? Are you the one who's going to church just to find a mate? Are you fornicating or committing adultery? Are you the one lusting after a married individual?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions I can surely guarantee you are headed South. Those who have confessed to Christianity are held accountable for their words and actions. It's not what you say, it's what you do. The main excuses Christians use when they fall into these sinful traps is "God knows my heart", "God is too loving to send me to Hell", "The Bible says 'the flesh is weak' ". Let me tell you truthfully that when you are defending your sins and refusing to repent, you are headed for the worse type of destruction for your eternal soul. There are way too many Christians who act so much like the world, they're victims of mistaken identity in the faith by default. It would be better if you never knew Jesus at all then to know Him and then reject Him. Christianity is not a walk that should be taken lightly. For those who believe that God doesn't cast souls to Hell you're right; God doesn't put people in Hell, people do it themselves. Hell was never intended for human life. It was a place for Satan and the third of the falling angels who dishonored God.
After reading Mary K. Baxter's best-selling book A Divine Revelation of Hell, I knew personally that I was not living up to the calling on my life and the Christian responsibilities that I was accountable for. This is the reason why I can write this message. This is not a message of condemnation or judgment, yet it is from revelation knowledge. There are many who have confessed with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord yet never believed in their heart, and for this very reason our relationship with Christ has to be re-evaluated. For example, did you celebrate Halloween? Why? Despite the fact that you're a Believer, you took the liberty of celebrating a day dedicated to worship of Satan. Yes, we know there are hypocrites of the faith but I beg you, do not fall into the trap of the Enemy and become one of them. The Word of God says in Hosea 4:6, "my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children." Don't let ignorance stand in the way of your salvation. You were promised eternal life with Christ. You made a vow before God to live for Him when you accepted Jesus as Lord over your life. You can not serve both God and Mammon.
I will be discussing more on this topic within the next few months. I believe it's imperative for Christians to wake up and smell the sulfur. This is not the time to sleep. Souls are at stake and we are responsible to win souls for Christ, even if it's only one. We can no longer stand around and compromise the faith. Hell is real. Hell is hot and fury. Choose this day whom you will serve. Stop right now and ask God for His forgiveness, repent of your sins, and start living your life for Him and through Him.
